Founder Sofie Devlieger Opens Store for Safe Nail Products
On Friday, November 2, nail and beauty professional Sofie Devlieger officially opened the doors of her new ASAP Store in Hasselt. With this store, she introduces a unique concept that puts safety, quality, and innovation first. While concerns about allergies caused by acrylic nails are growing, ASAP offers a safe and professional environment.
Sofie’s Story
As someone with firsthand experience, Sofie knows better than anyone what these allergies involve. She developed an allergy to acrylates while working as a nail technician, which inspired her to launch Abstract, a safe alternative to conventional nail products. “My mission was simple: to offer safe and high-quality products that meet the strict standards of professionals without the risk of harmful allergies,” says Sofie.
Sofie founded Abstract with a clear focus on offering safe, premium products that meet the needs of professionals without exposing themselves or their clients to harmful substances. “I wanted to create products that both professionals and clients could fully trust. In the ASAP Store, visitors can discover this vision,” says Sofie. All products in the range are first tested by herself. If no reaction occurs, the product is then tested on other individuals. “Only after six months or more of thorough testing and evaluation do I decide whether a product is ready for production or sale.”
Leading Supplier of Beauty Products
With physical stores in Bruges, Hasselt, and an online shop, ASAP has become a leading supplier of safe beauty and nail products. During the opening weekend, visitors were able to discover the wide range of Abstract and other innovative brands, attend workshops, and ask questions to Sofie and her team. “The ASAP Store is truly a place where expertise and safety come together,” Sofie says enthusiastically. “I look forward to inspiring other professionals and proving that working safely can and should be the norm.”
