Specialized Foot Care

PROGRAM
This training consists of 18 sessions of 3.5 hours, including the exam.

• Lesson 1: Introduction. Basic foot care demonstration. Hygiene and instrument maintenance.
• Lesson 2: Hygiene. Anatomy of the skeletal system. Learning to cut and file.
• Lesson 3: Test on basic concepts. Joints and muscles of the foot. Learning to cut calluses.
• Lesson 4: Test on foot muscle anatomy. Anatomy and pathology of the nail. Basic foot care.
• Lesson 5: Nail pathology. Basic foot care.
• Lesson 6: Test on nail anatomy and pathology. Anatomy and pathology of the skin. Performing basic foot care.
• Lesson 7: Test on skin anatomy and pathology. Ingrown nails and nail reconstruction. Foot care and treatment of thickened nails.
• Lesson 8: Review of anamnesis form. Shoe advice. Taking and interpreting foot imprint.
• Lesson 9: Orthopedic conditions. Foot care and treatment of excessive calluses and cracks.
• Lesson 10: Pharmacology and wound care. Practice of bandaging and tamponade dressings.
• Lesson 11: Test on orthopedic conditions. Anatomy and pathology of the cardiovascular system. Treating ingrown nails.
• Lesson 12: Anatomy and pathology of the nervous system. Removing corns with pressure bandages.
• Lesson 13: Test on the anatomy and pathology of the cardiovascular and nervous systems. Spa pedicure.
• Lesson 14: Preparing case files. Foot care and treatment of nail and skin conditions.
• Lesson 15: Revision lesson. Foot care and management of nail and skin complaints.
• Lesson 16: Product knowledge. Foot care and treatment of nail and skin conditions.
• Lesson 17: Foot care and treatment of nail and skin conditions.
• Lesson 18: Exam.
  
  

MODELS
You must provide the necessary models based on what is covered in the practical lessons. The instructor will provide you with an overview of which model is needed when.

TO BRING
To attend this training, the purchase of the starter kit (see related articles) and a pedicure drill from ASAP Nails & Beauty is required. The pedicure drills will be explained in the first lesson and can be purchased afterward. Ask for the student discount at the checkout.
To ensure a professional and hygienic learning environment, it is necessary to bring the following materials to class:

• 2 towels (70x140 cm)
• Apron (model: vest)
• Box of tissues
• Suitcase or box for all materials
• Extension cord
• Storage box for cotton pads or compresses
• Storage box for bandages or ointments
• Airtight, sealable box for disinfectant liquids

AT THE END OF THE TRAINING
At the end of the training and upon passing the exam, you will receive the certificate: Specialized Foot Care Specialist.

REGISTRATION
Reservation
Your registration and place are only definitively reserved for the course once we have received full payment of the tuition fees. If payment is not received within the payment term stipulated on our invoice, your reservation will be canceled.

Cancellation
Canceling a course 30 days before the start of the course is free of charge and can only be done via email: education@asap-nails.com or by registered mail.
Canceling from 29 days before the start of the course:

• For short-term courses (up to 8 lessons): 100% of the registration fee remains due.
• For long-term courses (more than 8 lessons): 50% of the registration fee remains due.

Refunds are only possible in the form of a credit voucher.

HOUSE RULES
Commitment
The student agrees to diligently study the theory, properly carry out the assigned practical tasks, and attend all lessons.
Absence
The ASAP Nails & Beauty Academy is committed to training you according to the latest techniques. To this end, instructors are hired who give their best and, with the necessary passion and patience, help you master the techniques. If you are absent from a lesson/course without notice, it is not possible to reschedule to another date or time free of charge, and refunds of the tuition fee are not available.
If, for valid reasons, you cannot attend a lesson, we ask that you notify us, preferably at least 5 days before the start of the lesson, via the email address: education@asap-nails.com, so that we can schedule a new lesson free of charge.
