WHAT IS SPRAY TANNING?

A bronzed skin is and remains very popular. A bit of color, a radiant glow does everyone better on their face!

It is proven that sunbathing in the sun or in a solarium is very damaging to the skin and damages skin cells. Studies show that visible signs of aging are 80% due to UV exposure. That is why many people prefer to safely achieve a beautiful bronzed skin through a professional spray tanning treatment and/or the use of self-tanners.

Spray tanning is a professional "sunless tanning" treatment where a tanning solution is sprayed onto the body in a fine mist using a compressor. Due to the presence of 'bronzer' in the solution, the client will immediately perceive a tan. The tanning process can continue to develop in the skin for up to 8 hours after treatment, resulting in a beautiful, even, and long-lasting tan.

The tanning solution sprayed on the skin contains an ingredient called Dihydroxyacetone (DHA) which acts on the chemistry of your own skin, giving your skin a bronzed appearance.

WHAT TO EXPECT?

Spray tanning is a natural, nourishing, and safe alternative for a flawless and breathtaking complexion. A treatment takes about 15 minutes and the result is equivalent to 6-8 sunbed sessions. In short, the results are stunning. The technique is easy to learn, easy to integrate into your business, or can be offered perfectly as a mobile service. The workshop includes a theory part and a practical part. Our manual is a comprehensive reference work that will enable you to achieve beautiful results time after time and build a successful client portfolio even after the training. Each student is personally guided to master the technique.

FOR WHOM?

For anyone who wants to offer spray tanning. No prior knowledge required.

PROGRAM

Theory (1 hour): Explanation about spray tanning, DHA, equipment and its maintenance, pre & aftercare products and their importance.

Practice (2 hours): Performing tanning on a model.

WHAT TO BRING

• Dark bikini or underwear for the tanning session.
• Loose dark clothing for after the tanning session (preferably jogging).
• Small towel.
• Possibly a dark bathrobe or kimono.

MODEL / TO DO'S

• Model must fully shave 24 hours before treatment.
• Model must scrub skin 24 hours before treatment.
• On the day of the class: do not wear makeup, body lotion or day cream.
• On the day of the class: do not use deodorants, perfumes or strongly perfumed soaps.

AT THE END OF THE TRAINING

At the end of the training you will receive a certificate of participation.
