Have you been using the Footlogix® DD Cream Mousse for a while? Then you may notice a slightly different or stronger scent with a recent package. No need to panic: Footlogix® has renewed the formula of the DD Cream Mousse and this change has a natural explanation.

A renewed formula with a marine active ingredient

Footlogix® has added a new ingredient of natural marine origin to the formula. It is derived from Fucus serratus, a species of brown seaweed that is rich in bioactive compounds.

An important group of these are phlorotannins, marine polyphenols known for their protective properties.

The addition of this ingredient enhances the formula with:

  • antimicrobial and antifungal properties
  • antioxidant properties
  • anti-inflammatory properties
  • support for the natural skin barrier
  • protection against external influences

The renewed formula is also paraben-free.

Why does the DD Cream Mousse smell slightly different now?

The natural ingredient derived from brown seaweed has a distinctive organic scent of its own. As a result, the renewed DD Cream Mousse may smell slightly stronger or different than you are used to.

Important to know: this scent does not mean that the product is defective or has a shorter shelf life. It is a natural characteristic of the new active ingredient and the scent fades quickly after application.
